Privacy policy
This policy explains what the Travel Aid app collects, why, and what you can do about it. Travel Aid is run by [operator name to be confirmed]. Questions go to support@travelaid.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in with a one-time code.
- Your passport countries and date of birth, to work out which visas you're eligible for. We don't ask for passport numbers.
- Visas you save and track, with their status and key dates.
- Work records you add: employer name, business number (such as an ABN), location, dates and days worked.
- Payslips and documents you upload, as photos or PDFs.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use your documents for advertising.
Why we use it
Only to run the app for you: showing eligible visas, keeping your tracker and work records, sending the reminders you turn on, and building the summary PDF when you ask for it. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, not sent from our servers.
Where it is stored
Your account, records and documents are stored with Supabase, our database and file-storage provider, in [region to be confirmed]. Payslips and documents sit in private storage that only your account can open, and links to them expire after a short time.
[List any other providers here before launch, such as the email service that sends sign-in codes, crash reporting or analytics.]
Partner links
Some visa pages show links to partners such as travel insurance or eSIM providers. They are labelled as partner links. If you tap one, the partner's own privacy policy applies on their site, and we may earn a commission. We don't pass your personal details to them.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, records and uploaded files. See how to delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@travelaid.app. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Travel Aid is for people aged 18 and over, the minimum age for working holiday visas.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app for any important change.
